I’m not a massive social media user. I know that’s a controversial thing to say these days but I’m just not really into mass oversharing. “I’m wearing red pants today” or “These are my legs in the bath”. Great thanks for sharing that…
Don’t get me wrong, I love a selfie and I do pretty much have to take a picture of every plate of food I eat. I’m ‘that’ guy. But the sharing of what you’re doing (and I mean exactly what you’re doing), how you feel, what you’re wearing with people you don’t know or haven’t seen in real life since school. That’s just not for me.
I don’t have Facebook, I closed the account earlier this year as I wasn’t using it, I’m not much of a ‘Twitterer’ anymore but I do love Instagram. I really love Instagram.
In a bid to encourage myself to post a bit more, I decided to do a photo-a-day challenge. I spoke to Nikki, one of my besties about it and as she was up for doing it too, we decided rather than copy someone else’s we would do out own.
So we came up with this list:
As of 1st August, we’ll be posting a picture a day for the duration of the month based on the subject specified for that date. I’ll report back to let you know how I found it!
If you’d like to join in too our hashtag is #butterflyhopsaug16 – it cleverly merges our two names. I’m paulahops (obviously) and the lovely Nikki is butterflyblossm – see what we did there!
Have you ever done a photo-a-day challenge? How did you find it?
As always thanks for dropping by and I would love to hear from you!!
